About High Point Family Medicine, LLC

Our History

With their shared interest in full spectrum family medicine and their complementing strengths, Drs. Eric Slane and Eric Stader opened High Point Family Medicine, LLC, in November 2007 with locations in both Lancaster and Fennimore. They later added Jessica Varnam, MD, Neil Martin, MD, and Jessica Klein, PA-C. Their team of providers works cooperatively, along with their staff, to fulfill their mission, “to help you improve your physical, emotional, and spiritual health.” High Point serves patients of all ages, all the way from birth to end of life.

Beginning with just two providers and a handful of staff, High Point Family Medicine, LLC, has grown over the years and now has more than 12 staff members who work alongside our five providers. High Point initially leased space inside of Grant Regional Health Center, but quickly outgrew that location. In 2015, Drs. Slane and Stader seized an opportunity to buy land and build a much larger clinic near the hospital. They designed their new facility, which opened in 2017. It is the first clinic in Southwestern Wisconsin to offer Hearing Loop technology for hearing impaired patients.

Drs. Slane and Stader have been seeing patients at the Fennimore location since 2003, four years prior to founding High Point. They are pleased to be the only clinic that brings medical doctors to Fennimore to see patients. All High Point physicians and providers have regularly scheduled clinic hours in both locations.

High Point has been privileged to host students and family medicine residents over the years. Our patients and staff play a vital role in the training of the next generation of physicians and providers for rural health care in area communities.
